Terms and conditions for car rental
By using the platform for private and business car rental (hereafter referred to as "The Platform") through the website gomore.dk, you are as a Car Owner and/or car Renter accepting the following terms and conditions.
§ 1 Introduction
1.1 The operation of the website is handled by GoMore ApS, CVR-nr. 35865397, Kompagnistræde 20C, 3. sal, 1208 København K (From this point named “GoMore”).
1.2 The use of The Platform presupposes that you have set up a profile and are a member of GoMore. The general terms and conditions for ridesharing, the use of the webpage, and membership is found here.
1.3 A registered member who creates an advert for car rental is hereby named "Car Owner". A registered member who makes use of an advert for car rental is hereby named "Renter".
1.4 The rental car may be used for business purposes in connection with transportation to and from work, meetings, trade shows, etc. The rental car must not be used for business purposes where the rental car functions as a central part of the business operations, as for example taxi driving, carrier business, etc..
1.5 The rental contract is used to record the amount of driven kilometers, fuel, known damages on the rental car and deficiencies, in addition with other information of importance to the parties rental agreement. The rental contract is found in GoMore's app on the Car Owner's mobile phone. For GoMore Keyless rentals, the rental contract is available on the Renter’s phone.
§ 2 Services
The users of GoMore solely acquire access to- and usage of a communication platform (database) by GoMore. The Platform contains and permits access to the required information needed to make it possible for the car Renter to establish the necessary contact to the Car Owner, who is advertising a car rental opportunity, with the expressed purpose of making an agreement on private car rental.
§ 3 Insurance and requirements
3.1 All cars rented out privately via The Platform must be covered by a special insurance that GoMore has developed in cooperation with our insurance partner. The terms and requirements hereto are defined below under section 3.5.
The insurance is taken out automatically when a rental car is booked via GoMore, and the payment for the insurance is included in GoMore’s insurance and service charge. The car, the Car Owner, the Renter, and any additional driver are required to comply with the conditions to be covered by the insurance, and the insurance only covers the car during the rental period as stated by the booking on GoMore.
The Car Owner can rent out a maximum of five privately owned and registered cars on the private rental insurance provided by our insurance partner. If the Car Owner rents out more than five cars, The Car Owner must be listed as a business owner on The Platform and provide their own business rental insurance as defined in section 3.2.4..
3.2 Requirements to the car:
3.2.1 To be covered by the insurance coverage the following requirements are demanded, which all rental cars must comply with:
- The car must be privately owned and registered for private transportation of passengers or private freight transportation (vans). However, leasing cars leased via GoMore and it's business partners are also covered by the insurance coverage.
- In case of privately leased cars, the Car Owner must be the lessee.
- In case of business leased cars, the Car Owner must be the company or this employee (user of the car) with the permission of the company.
- The car must neither generally nor part-time be used for business purposes including, but not limited to commodity- and freight transportation.
- The car must be covered by third-party liability insurance in accordance with applicable Danish law and registered in the Motor Register (DMR), as well as fully comprehensive insured in advance with a publicly registered insurance company authorised by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority.
- The net weight of the car must not exceed 3,500 kilograms (corresponding to the maximum permissible weight for a "small" driver's license).
- The car’s new value must not exceed DKK 2,000,000.
- Cars with a new value of more than DKK 1,000,000 must have an active insurance-approved GPS installed in the car.
- The car must not have driven more than 250,000 kilometers.
- The car must not be older than 15 years, as calculated from the car’s first registration date.
- The car must have an active GPS in the car during all rentals, if the car is less than 5 years old and has a replacement value above DKK 800,000.
- Please note that certain requirements apply for GoMore Keyless rentals. These are found in section 3.2.3..
- Please note that certain requirements apply to business owned and/or registered cars. These are found in section 3.2.4..
3.2.2 Furthermore, during rental periods where the car is going to be driven abroad, the following requirements apply:
- The car must be registered on the type of Car Registration Certificate, which has been used since 6 June 2012.
- Part 1, and only part 1, of the new Car Registration Certificate must be in the car during rental periods where the car will drive abroad.
3.2.3 When renting a car out with GoMore Keyless, rental cars and the Car Owner must also meet the following requirements:
- You have a spare key for the car.
- The car is parked in a publicly accessible location with reliable mobile data coverage.
- The Car Owner has tested that the immobilizer works properly and the car cannot be started with the key when it is locked with the GoMore app. When Keyless is activated on the Car Owner’s rental ad, the Car Owner confirms that the immobilizer works as intended.
- Special for Tesla: That the Car Owner has activated a PIN code that the Renter must use to start the car during the rental. Teslas with GoMore Keyless cannot be rented out on GoMore without a PIN code. When Keyless is activated on the Car Owner’s rental ad, the Car Owner confirms that the immobilizer works as intended.
- That the Car Owner is responsible for testing the immobilizer ongoingly and in case of any irregularities, the Car Owner must secure the car and contact GoMore immediately to get it fixed.
- That the Car Owner is always responsible for locking the car via the GoMore app before a Keyless rental and checking that the doors are correctly locked.
3.2.4 For business owned and/or business registered cars rented out on GoMore, the Business Car Owner must provide their own business rental insurance via the Business Car Owner’s insurance company.
The Business Car Owner’s insurance must as a minimum, but not limited to, provide full liability- and comprehensive insurance during the rental period, together with roadside assistance, and must not have an excess of more than DKK 5,000 or DKK 7,500 depending on when the booking of the car was made (see more below). Road assistance must be free of charge and available 24/7.
Please note that the deductible amount depends on the booking date: As of 11 March 2026, the deductible for commercial rentals will increase from DKK 5,000 to DKK 7,500.
- Rentals booked before 11 March 2026: Standard deductible of DKK 5,000
- Rentals booked on or after 11 March 2026: Standard deductible of DKK 7,500
The applicable deductible is shown in the specific booking and applies for the entire rental period.
If the car is picked up by roadside assistance during the rental period, and the renter is not responsible for the incident, the Car Owner or roadside assistance must cover the Renter’s reasonable and documented expenses for onward transportation to the Renter’s destination.
A business car is defined as any car that is 1) owned by a firm and/or 2) not registered for private transportation of passengers or private freight transportation.
The Car Owner is allowed to rent out a maximum of five privately registered cars on GoMore’s private car rental insurance via our insurance partner. If the Car Owner rents out more than five privately registered cars on GoMore, all cars must be listed as business cars on The Platform and the Car Owner must provide their own business rental insurance for all cars no matter how the cars are owned and registered.
All business cars rented out on GoMore must comply with and fulfill the following requirements:
- The car must be liability insured in accordance with current Danish legislation. Additionally, the car must be covered by a full liability- and comprehensive insurance with a publicly registered (DMR) insurance company. Moreover, the business Car Owner must provide 24 hour roadside assistance.
- The net weight of the car must not exceed 3,500 kilograms (corresponding to the maximum permissible weight for a "small" driver's license).
- The car must not have driven more than 350,000 kilometers.
- The car must not be older than 18 years, as calculated from the car’s first registration date.
- If necessary, the car must be registered with permission to rentals without a driver in accordance with Danish legislation. See more here. The business Car Owner is fully responsible for ensuring that the car has the correct permissions. GoMore can under no circumstances be held responsible if a car is rented out without the correct permission(s).
In case of damages happened during a rental period, the Business Car Owner has the full responsibility of claims handling. GoMore may assist with the communication between the Business Car Owner and the Renter, but GoMore cannot be held responsible for any damages occurring to the car before, during, and after a rental period.
When a damage has been factually repaired, GoMore may assist with the excess collection from the Renter. By accepting these terms and conditions the Renter confirms that GoMore may charge excess from the Renter on behalf of the Business Car Owner. GoMore can also assist with the collection of fines or other additional costs after the rental period, as long as the additional costs are reported to GoMore within the applicable deadline, and that the Business Car Owner can document the claim. The Business Car Owner can also choose to directly charge the Renter for the deductible, payment for fines, or other additional costs after the rental period and must similarly follow the applicable deadlines and provide documentation of the claim to the Renter. Specifically, additional costs for fuel and kilometers must be reported to the Renter or GoMore within 72 hours after the end of the rental period. After this, a claim for additional costs cannot be made.
The Business Car Owner must report additional costs to GoMore via "Start expense claim" under the completed rental agreement. Read more here.
In any case of damages, the business Car Owner must document any claim towards a Renter via a rental contract. Excess collection cannot begin before a damage has been repaired and an excess invoice from the Car Owner’s insurance company, or a workshop report that documents what has been repaired together with the price thereof exists. In case of non-insurance-covered damages, expenses for repairs are covered by either the Business Car Owner or the Renter depending on who is responsible for the damage according to section 6.2.8. The Business Car Owner decides on the repair if the damage is not covered by insurance but is obligated to find a reasonable and competitively priced solution for the repair in cases where the Renter is liable for compensation.
The Business Car Owner must at all times follow the applicable laws and standards for payments and payment notices before, for example, a reminder fee is charged on a bill or a notice of debt collection is issued against the Renter. See the rules here.
The Business Car Owner is not allowed to impose administrative fees on billings from the Renter, for example, for the collection of deductibles, fines, or other additional costs.
Any taxable reporting of private use of business registered cars rented out on GoMore is the business owner’s responsibility. GoMore can under no circumstances be held responsible for any taxable consequences.
3.2.5 In cases where GoMore (GoMore ApS) is listed as the Car Owner of cars being rented out via The Platform, GoMore (GoMore ApS) is considered a Business Owner and subject to the same requirements as other Business Owners on The Platform. GoMore's (GoMore ApS) potential activity as a Business Owner has no other impact on these terms or other conditions for the use of The Platform.
By approving these terms, the Renter accepts that any damages occurring during a rental period of a rental car where GoMore is listed as the lessor will be charged to the Renter based on this damage price list.
3.2.6 GoMore reserves the right to change, delete or block a Car Owner’s rental ad at any time and for any given reason. This also includes the right to cancel/change/or deny an already accepted booking and the payment hereof.
3.2.7 As a Business Owner you are not allowed to charge your own fees.
3.3 Requirements to the Renter and any additional driver:
3.3.1 To comply with the insurance terms it is additionally required that the Renter as well as any extra driver of the car must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license in Denmark, and have held the driver's license for a minimum of 1 years.
On cars defined as premium by GoMore, the Renter and any additional driver of the car must be 28 years of age and have held a driving license for a minimum of 1 year. The Renter in addition with a contingent extra driver's driving license number must appear on the rental contract. In addition, upon amendment of an extra driver after signing of an agreement for the rental period, the extra driver's driving license number must be documentable.
GoMore reserves the right to decline any Renter if this cannot be credit approved or registered in RKI.
Please note that a fee of DKK 30 is added for each rental day for Renters under 25 years of age, and a fee of DKK 14 is added for each rental day, if the Renter registers as a tourist during the renter approval process.
3.3.2 If you plan to drive the car abroad, you must purchase abroad insurance. This insurance provides coverage for both you and the car in EU countries and those included in the Green Card system. Specifically, it covers travel in Norway, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, and Sweden. As a renter, you are not permitted to drive the car in any countries outside of this list. Read more here.
Be aware that the price of abroad insurance is DKK 40 per rental day. The Renter pays for abroad insurance for the full rental period, however only for a maximum of 5 days (DKK 200) even though the rental exceeds 5 days.
3.3.3 If another person than the Renter is to drive the car, the Renter must purchase extra driver coverage.
An individual who has previously applied to be approved as a renter on GoMore and has had their approval denied is not allowed to be added as an extra driver or drive the car. In case an individual who has previously had their renter approval denied or does not meet the conditions set out in section 3.3.1 still drives the car, insurance coverage might be waived. The Renter and any additional driver will be held fully responsible for any loss in connection with damages to the car, case handling, loss, or the like. Furthermore, GoMore reserves the right to charge the Renter an administration fee of DKK 5,000.
Solely the primary Renter is allowed to pick up and return the car. The extra driver is thus not allowed to do so. The Renter bears the full responsibility for the car at all times and for the complete rental period.
Note that the price of extra driver coverage is DKK 35 per rental day.
3.3.4 The Renter must, when making the first booking of a rental car, verify their identity using MitID and by uploading photos of their health insurance card and driving licence. The photos of the health insurance card and driving licence are subject to approval by GoMore. When entering into subsequent rental agreements, the Renter confirms, at the time of entering into such agreements, that they are still in possession of a valid driving licence.
3.4 If the above-mentioned insurance requirements are not fulfilled, the rental agreement must not be entered.
Furthermore, during a rental period, both parties are not allowed to use the car in a manner, which would result in the insurance coverage to no longer apply in accordance to the insurance terms or arrange a rental period that exceeds 30 consecutive days.
Both parties are not allowed to facilitate rental agreements within the rental period. If done the insurance coverage will be voided.
3.5 Before entering into an agreement on car rental, the Car Owner and the car Renter should both go over the conditions of the insurance, which can be read in their full length at the bottom of this page. However, in general it can be stated that:
- The insurance only covers during the rental period, which is documented in the data on the rental agreement of the car.
- The insurance covers for a maximum of 30 consecutive days.
- The insurance only covers in connection with usage of the car in Denmark, unless additional abroad coverage is purchased when booking the car.
- The insurance has the same fixed price, regardless of which damages that may occur.
- Mechanical damages are not covered by the insurance. The same applies for damages caused as a result of wrong refueling of the car and/or damages caused by driving the car with insufficient water and/or oil and normal wear and tear.
- For bookings made before 17.12.2025: The excess per damage incidence is DKK 6,000. In case the Renter purchased excess insurance the excess per damage incidence is either DKK 1,500 or DKK 0 depending on the level of excess insurance the Renter purchased. Excess insurance must be purchased before the start of a rental.
- For bookings made after 17.12.2025: The excess per damage incidence is DKK 7,500. In case the Renter purchased excess insurance the excess per damage incidence is either DKK 2,500 or DKK 0 depending on the level of excess insurance the Renter purchased. Excess insurance must be purchased before the start of a rental.
- The Renter must pay the excess if any damages happen to the car in the rental period.
- Only one excess is charged even though both the liability- and comprehensive insurance are actualised.
- Repairs of stone chips in the windscreen are free. However, when replacing the windscreen, the excess is charged.
- The insurance covers theft by a third party, who is not the Renter.
- In the event of loss, the Owner may, in special cases and subject to agreement with GoMore, obtain coverage. However, the incident must be reported to GoMore no later than 8 days after the agreed end of the rental period. Loss is defined as the Renter not having returned the car within a grace period of 28 days after the agreed return time stated in the booking. It is a condition that the incident has been reported to the police. The Renter and any additional driver remain fully liable for the car’s market value as well as for any expenses and costs associated with the loss of the car.
- The Owner’s coverage in the event of loss may lapse if the Car Owner hands over the car's car Registration Certificate to the car Renter. The car registration certificate must therefore be removed from the car before any rental periods. For rentals where the car is taken abroad, only part 1 of the car’s registration certificate may be kept in the car during the rental period.
- The insurance includes roadside assistance.
3.6 GoMore is not an insurance supplier. GoMore is registered as an insurance provider with the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority.
3.7 In the event of incidents or damages not covered by the included insurance, the Renter and any additional driver will in all cases be held fully financially liable for any loss or damage suffered by any affected parties as a result of actions taken by the Renter or any additional driver. This includes, but is not limited to, losses related to misfuelling, loss of the vehicle, confiscation, and damage caused by negligence that may be characterized as gross negligence or by intent, as well as in the event of an exclusion of the insurance coverage. 3.8 The Renter is obliged, throughout the rental period, to comply with the Road Traffic Act as well as other relevant applicable legislation. Any violation thereof shall be at the Renter’s own expense and risk and may result in the Renter being held liable for fines, fees, charges, claims for damages, or other consequences arising from such violation.
§ 4 Payment
4.1. Users must always follow the, at any time applicable, guidelines for pricing at GoMore unless otherwise stated. It is not allowed to agree on, or announce a different pricing or arrange payments outside The platform. This with the exception of payment of extra costs after a rental as e.g. exceeded mileage, missing petrol, fees, etc. if GoMore is unable to process these automatically after a rental.
4.2 All payments between the Car Owner and Renter must happen via The Platform's online payment system. The payment system functions in a manner where the agreed amount of money, including insurance- and administration fees, is charged on the Renter's payment card, when the Car Owner accepts a rental request. The payment of the booking, exclusive of any payment for possible extra costs, is transferred to the Owner’s GoMore account 24 hours after the end of a rental period. The payment of possible extra costs is transferred to the Owner 4 days after the end of a rental period in case these can be charged on the Renter’s payment card. In case extra costs cannot be charged on the Renter’s payment card, GoMore invoices the Renter and transfers the payment of the extra costs to the Owner when the Renter has paid.
4.3 In the event extra costs arise after the rental contract has been concluded, the Car Owner may request reimbursement by submitting an expense claim to the Renter through the Platform. Upon receipt of the expense claim, the Renter has 72 hours to respond by either accepting or rejecting it. If the Renter rejects the expense claim or fails to respond within the 72-hour period, the claim will be automatically forwarded to GoMore for review. GoMore will then determine the validity of the Car Owner’s claim. If the claim is deemed valid, GoMore will proceed to charge the Renter accordingly. In the event GoMore has to handle the claim, administrative fees might apply cf. 6.2.13 and 6.2.16.
4.4. By submitting an expense claim through the Platform, the Car Owner certifies that all information provided is accurate and truthful. The Car Owner also agrees not to misuse the expense claim tool under any circumstances. In the event of misuse, GoMore reserves the right to reject any claim and may take precautionary actions, including blocking the Car Owner’s GoMore account.
4.5 If the rental period is longer than 14 days, GoMore reserves the right to deduct proportionate payment every 14th day. The payment, excluding the insurance- and administration fee, is transferred to the Owner’s account on gomore.dk, whereupon he or she can choose to pay out the amount. However, cf. § 4.3..
4.6 To put The Platform at disposal, GoMore charges a service fee of the price for each car rental period from the Car Owner and Renter respectively. The size of the service fee will at any time appear on The Platform before the rental request is sent and the amount is automatically paid from the rental price. More information about the service fee and calculation thereof is found in our article on service fees here.
4.6.1 Possible service fees are shown to the Car Owner and Renter before the Renter sends a rental request and before the Car Owner accepts the request. GoMore reserves the right to change service fees at any time. However, possible changes to the service fees will not affect rentals made before the effective date of the service fee change.
4.7 If the rental agreement cannot be completed as a result of the Renter's circumstances, as e.g. if the Renter does not show up or is not able to show a valid driver's license, the Renter must pay the full price of the rental period, including service-, insurance- and administration fees. If the Renter cancels an accepted booking before the start of the rental, the Renter might have to pay a cancellation fee as described in § 7..
4.8 If the rental agreement cannot be completed as a result of the Car Owner's circumstances, as e.g. if the Car Owner does not show up or if the car does not comply with the minimum requirements, the Car Owner must pay the price of the service-, insurance- and administration fees, together with a cancellation fee as described in § 7, which is used to compensate the Renter. The Renter's payment will be canceled. The Renter does not have the right to receive further compensation in regards to costs for alternative transportation. If the Car Owner cancels an accepted booking before the start of the rental, the Car Owner will have to pay a cancellation fee as described in § 7..
4.9 In case of non-completed rental agreements caused by circumstances inflicted by the Car Owner, the Renter must as the point of departure inform GoMore hereof no later than 12 hours after the planned time of the beginning of the rental period. GoMore reserves the right to charge the full price for the rental agreement in spite of a timely notification by the Renter, based on information provided by the Car Owner. If GoMore makes use of this possibility, both parties will be informed via email. GoMore can under no circumstances be held economically responsible for the utilization or missing utilization of this possibility.
4.10 In case the above-mentioned payment terms fail to be met, GoMore can choose to renounce the insurance coverage.
4.11 You authorize GoMore to use stored payment credentials for bookings, service fees, security deposits, extra costs incurred during the rental booking, processing fees and claims costs, and related administrative fees. GoMore also reserves the right to withhold part or all of any applied security deposit to pay for extra costs incurred during the rental booking.
4.12 You acknowledge and agree that GoMore reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withhold, suspend, or block any rental income credited to your GoMore balance in the event of any dispute, discrepancy, or unresolved matter between you and GoMore, or between you and any other GoMore user, until such matter has been fully resolved. Furthermore, you authorize GoMore to apply any funds held in your GoMore balance toward the settlement of any outstanding amounts due and payable by you.
§ 5 Fuel and driven kilometers
5.1 The Renter is responsible for paying for fuel consumption during a rental. In the rental contract for meet-the-owner rentals, the quantity of fuel should, in unison, be noted by both the Car Owner and Renter in order to document the fuel level at both the beginning and end of a rental period.
When it is a GoMore Keyless rental, the fuel level will automatically be recorded by the app. On certain car models, the fuel level is not automatically calculated, and the Renter must therefore note the fuel level and document it with picture documentation in the app. It is always the Renter’s responsibility to provide photo documentation of the fuel level of the car.
5.2 Similarly, the mileage of the car should be noted in the rental contract at the beginning and the end of the rental period.
When it is a GoMore Keyless rental, the mileage is automatically calculated by the app. On certain car models the mileage is not automatically calculated and the Renter must therefore note and document the mileage with picture documentation in the app. It is always the Renter’s responsibility to provide photo documentation of the car’s mileage.
5.3 When using the rental contract in the GoMore app: in cases where the car is returned with less fuel or exceeded mileage, the Renter’s payment card will be charged for these extra costs. The cost for exceeded mileage is automatically calculated based on the per kilometer fee shown to the Renter during the booking. For non-Keyless rentals, the Car Owner and Renter must agree on compensation for the missing fuel.
Owners of electric vehicles (EVs) can choose to include the use of fuel with the rental (both for keyless and non-keyless rentals), for which the cost of fuel will not be added at the end to the rental contract. If applicable, this will be shown on the car profile ahead of the booking. In all other cases it is assumed that fuel for electric vehicles should be compensated under similar terms to fossil fuel vehicles.
When the rental is a GoMore Keyless rental, the price of the missing fuel will be calculated automatically by the app by measuring the missing fuel. The charge is made automatically on the renter’s payment card or the owner’s GoMore account, based on the current rates and fees as published on the GoMore platform and the specific rental booking page. As fuel prices change over time, the most recent fuel prices are shown on the rental booking page.
The Car Owner and Renter can also agree on compensation for other costs that will be charged to the Renter’s payment card after completion of the app rental contract. For security reasons, we do not process total extra costs above DKK 5,000 or 700 € in the app rental contract. In this case, the responsibility for balancing the difference lies upon Renter and Car Owner.
When it is a GoMore Keyless rental, there are no limitations on total extra costs that will be handled automatically by GoMore.
If the Renter delivers back the car with more fuel then documented in the rental contract at the beginning of the rental, the Owner is obligated to refund the Renter. However, the Owner is not obligated to refund the Renter for unused kilometers. This does not apply to rentals of electric vehicles where the owner has chosen to include the use of electricity with the rental.
In case extra costs can be charged on the Renter’s payment card, the money is transferred to the Owner’s GoMore account 4 days after the end of a rental period. In case extra costs cannot be charged on the Renter’s payment card, GoMore invoices the Renter and transfers the payment of the extra costs to the Owner when the Renter has paid.
While GoMore will assist with handling of extra costs, GoMore cannot be held responsible for refunding the Car Owner. Further, we cannot be held responsible for failed payments or other technical issues that prevent the Renter’s payment card from being charged.
§ 6 Requirements to the agreement between the Car Owner and the Renter
6.1 The Car Owner must not give the Renter permission to use the car in a way that will cause the insurance coverage to terminate.
6.2 Furthermore, the following terms are mandatory in the rental agreement:
6.2.1 The Business Car Owner guarantees that the car is maintained and in a proper condition, and that it meets all legal requirements regarding periodic inspections, tires and tread depth, safety equipment, etc. Before any rental, the Business Car Owner furthermore guarantees that they have checked and, if necessary, topped up the car with sufficient oil, coolant, water, windshield washer fluid, etc., according to the manufacturer's guidelines. The Business Car Owner guarantees that the car is presentable and lives up to the description on the car profile, including text and pictures. The car must not have significant defects or deficiencies compared to the car profile, including, for example, red warning lights that are on. Loss or damage arising in connection with lack of maintenance or unsafe condition is not covered by the included insurance.
GoMore reserves the right to assess whether the car meets the maintenance requirements, and based on GoMore's assessment, to cancel an accepted booking if the car does not meet these standards. If GoMore cancels an accepted booking before or after the start of the rental because the car does not meet the applicable requirements, the Business Car Owner must pay a cancellation fee as described in § 7. GoMore also reserves the right to charge an administration fee of DKK 500 from the Business Car Owner for handling cases related to lack of maintenance of the car and to deactivate the car from the Platform. In these cases, the Business Car Owner is also not entitled to be compensated for lost rental income as a result of the cancellation.
The Car Owner must ensure that the car has a visible and working parking disc available in the car at any time of the rental. If not, the Car Owner is financially responsible, in case a parking ticket is issued during the rental period and caused by the missing parking disc.
The Car Owner must additionally have the right to rent out the car as presupposed in the rental contract.
6.2.2 The Renter must pick up the car. The Car Owner is obliged to be physically present to deliver the car/keys and must verify the Renter's identity, that the Renter is 21 years of age (28 years of age on cars defined as premium by GoMore) or more, has held a drivers license for a minimum of 1 years, and that the Renter holds a valid driver's license, which provides the Renter with authorization to drive the type of car that are provided during the rental. Moreover, the Car Owner must also ensure that the Renter, from an immediate assessment, is able to drive the car in a secure manner, hereunder that the Renter is not influenced by alcohol, pharmaceuticals, and/or narcotics. If the Owner has breached this provision, compensation under the included insurance may be void in whole or in part. It is not allowed to use key safes to facilitate rentals.
Please note that the Car Owner does not have to check the identity of the Renter when it is a GoMore Keyless rental.
6.2.2.1 Cars rented on GoMore must not be used for reckless driving (vanvidskørsel) as defined in the Danish criminal law and traffic law (see more here). By accepting these terms and conditions, the Renter declares under penalty of perjury that neither the Renter nor any other drivers of the rental car have previously been convicted of reckless driving, driving under the influence of alcohol, or other serious traffic offences, e.g., repeated offences, offences resulting in unconditional revocation of the driving licence, or offences punishable by imprisonment, and further declares that the rental car will not be used for reckless driving. If the vehicle is confiscated or auctioned, the Renter and any additional driver shall, in all cases, be held fully liable for any loss or damage suffered by any affected parties as a result thereof, including, but not limited to, losses arising from seizure and/or confiscation and auction of the rental vehicle.
6.2.3 When receiving the car, the Renter declares that he or she agrees to the condition of the car as described in the rental contract, and that he or she has checked the brakes, the oil- and fluid balance, the steering system, the signal instruments, and the lights. The responsibility for checking and refilling sufficient oil and water during the rental period lies entirely upon the Renter. The Renter is responsible for stopping the car and if necessary contact roadside assistance if any warning lights indicate failures or damages to the car. In case of damages to the car’s mechanical or electronic components caused by wrong use of the car during a rental period, the Renter and any additional driver can be held fully responsible for all costs associated herewith.
6.2.4 Existing damages and scratches must be listed in the rental contract before the car is handed over to the Renter. Should the contract only exist in the printed version, it must stay in the car during the entire rental period.
6.2.5 The Renter and any additional driver is responsible for any damages that may happen to the car in the entire rental period, including miscarriage of the car, or unforeseeable accident, unless the Renter can prove that the damage already was present before the time of the beginning of the rental period. In cases of doubt, in regards to whether the damage happened to the car during the rental period, reference is made to the rental contract. The Renter is not responsible for prospective increases in the Car Owners insurance premium, loss of state as no-claims driver, or the like.
6.2.6 Unless otherwise is arranged, the Renter must return the car in the same state as when handed over. Smoking in the rental car is prohibited during the rental period. Animals are only allowed in the car, if it is arranged and agreed upon with the Car Owner.
6.2.7 The Car Owner is responsible for checking the car's interior and exterior for possible damages when the car is returned. It is the Car Owner's responsibility to ensure that detected damages are documented in the rental contract and signed by both the Car Owner and the Renter no later than the end time as stated on the rental booking on GoMore.
Further, it is recommended that damages are documented immediately after its origin or are documented by photos immediately after the car is returned to the Car Owner. In cases of stone chips, the car should as a rule be driven to a repair shop after the damage has happened. Hereafter, a damage report must be composed.
If mechanical or wear and tear damages occur to the rental car during the rental period, the Car Owner must refund the Renter the price of the remaining rental period, including remaining kilometers in reference to the rental contract, but exclusive any fees laid upon the Renter within 8 days.
If damages are found at a later time than at the end time of the rental as specified by the booking, and if the the later delivery time is not caused by the Renter’s circumstances, it is at the Car Owner’s risk if damages can not be proven to have occurred within the rental period where the insurance covers the car. In such cases, GoMore may reject coverage of the damage.
Note that additional special conditions apply for GoMore Keyless rentals as set out in sections 6.2.14, 6.2.15, 6.2.16 and 6.2.17.
6.2.8 If the car cannot drive or acquires a damage that demands repair work before further driving can take place, the Renter must call our road assistance partner. If the damage cannot be fixed on site, the rental car will be carried to the nearest mechanic.
The Renter must as quickly as possible contact the Car Owner, and the damage must be reported to our insurance partner. The mechanic can begin repairing the car after an assessor from our insurance partner has evaluated the damages. In cases of damages not covered by the insurance, the costs for road service and repair is covered by the Car Owner or Renter depending on who is responsible for the damage. The Business Car Owner makes the decision about the repair if the damage is not covered by insurance but is obligated to find a reasonable and competitively priced solution in cases where the Renter is liable for compensation.
As a prerequisite for providing road assistance, the Owner consent to allowing the Renter to pass on the Owner's contact information to our road assistance partner and its business partners by accepting these terms, and vice versa. Furthermore, the Car Owner consent to allowing our road assistance partner or GoMore to make necessary decisions on behalf and at the expense of the Car Owner, so the car can be repaired locally and the Renter can return the car to the Car Owner.
6.2.9 The Renter is responsible for, and must pay for, charging and fuel consumption, ferry tickets, and tolls, etc., during the rental period. The Renter must also pay all fines and fees imposed on the car, including for violations of the traffic laws and for illegal parking, except in cases where the Business Car Owner is at fault.
The Business Car Owner is responsible for paying fines within the currently applicable payment deadline to avoid reminder fees. The Car Owner is furthermore responsible for paying any reminder fees imposed due to, for example, late payment. If the Car Owner has not received the fine or a reminder to pay the fine from the issuer, it is the Car Owner's responsibility to contact the issuer of the fine. GoMore can assist in collecting payment of fines from the Renter by having the Car Owner advance the fine to avoid reminder fees. Afterward, the Car Owner can report the fine to GoMore by clicking "Report Additional Cost" under the completed rental agreement.
6.2.10 GoMore reserves the right to withdraw up to DKK 7,500 from the Renter's payment card to cover any costs in connection with damages or payment of excess in connection with damages caused by the Renter. In cases of more damages, GoMore can withdraw up to DKK 7,500 per damage incidence. Furthermore, GoMore can withdraw an amount of money to cover fines and fees which the car and/or the Renter has received during the rental period, in addition with costs in connection with payments prompted by the Renter’s non-compliance of the rental car and/or rental agreement. In addition, GoMore can withdraw an amount of money to cover outstandings on the Renter's GoMore account.
6.2.11 GoMore reserves the right to extend the rental period on behalf of the Renter, and charge the Renter any related costs in this regard, if the car is not returned to the Car Owner in time. Furthermore, GoMore reserves the right to withdraw a penalty fee of DKK 20,000 if the car is not returned in time and neither GoMore and/or the Car Owner has been informed.
6.2.12 The Renter is responsible for returning a rental car at the end time on the rental booking and for extending a rental if needed. If an extension has not been accepted and a car is returned late, the Renter is charged late return fees:
- 0 to 15 min late: No fee.
- 15 min to 24 hours late: 0.7% of daily price (adjusted for dynamic pricing) per min including the first 15 min of lateness.
- More than 24 hours late: Late fee for the first 24 hours + daily rental price per started rental day + an administration fee of DKK 500 per started rental day.
In cases where a Renter’s late return causes an upcoming rental of the car to be canceled, GoMore reserves the right to charge the Renter the full price of the upcoming rental.
6.2.12.1 Late returns are calculated based on the minute the rental contract is started and GoMore’s normal rental fees apply.
6.2.12.2 Extra rental income is transferred to the Car Owner excluding GoMore’s fees when the money has been collected from the Renter. GoMore is not liable for paying the Car Owner before the money has been collected from the Renter.
6.2.13 In addition, GoMore can charge miscellaneous administration fees, which GoMore makes applicable in connection with events that might have happened during a rental period and/or as a result of the way that the Renter has used and treated a rental car. Herunder, if a fine, fee or other extra costs are sent to GoMore or if GoMore has to incur costs as a result of the Renter’s violation of GoMore’s rules and/or terms and conditions. In these situations, GoMore will charge the Renter payment for:
- GoMore’s administration fee, which is charged to cover the costs GoMore has in connection with handling the fine, fee or extra costs.
- The fine, fee or extra costs if GoMore has to pay this or these. Hereunder, extra costs in connection with but not limited to cleaning of the rental car, extra rental days, fuel, damage costs etc..
By accepting GoMores terms and conditions the Renter permits GoMore to charge the fees as listed below and payment of the fine, fee and/or other costs. GoMore charges the administration fee and payment on the Renter’s payment card. The fee goes to cover GoMore’s administrative costs.

In addition to the fees above, GoMore might charge separate administration fees in connection with GoMore Keyless. See 6.2.16 and 6.2.17..
GoMore further reserves the right to place any Renter and/or additional driver who breaches GoMore’s terms on a list that will prevent the Renter and/or additional driver from using GoMore again.
In addition to the above, the following special requirements apply for the agreement between the Car Owner and Renter in a GoMore Keyless rentals:
6.2.14 Requirements for the Car Owner in GoMore Keyless before and after the rental:
Before a GoMore Keyless rental, the Car Owner must go through the car and document the state of the car with pictures under “Existing damages” adding comments to describe the damage. It is the Car Owner’s responsibility to document the state of the car before a rental, and make sure that the car is fueled and in good condition suitable for rental. Further, It is recommended that the Car Owner checks the car both before and after each rental to ensure adequate documentation of the car's condition in the form of clear, well-lit and detailed photos.
When it is a GoMore Keyless rental, the Car Owner does not have to check Renter’s identity. GoMore verifies all Renters’ identity manually before their first rental at GoMore.
After the rental, the Car Owner has two days (48 hours) to report new damages on the car. The Car Owner must document any demands with pictures. The Car Owner must contact GoMore Support immediately after noticing an undocumented damage and no later than two days after the termination of the rental. If the Car Owner subsequently finds undocumented damages, it is the sole responsibility of the Car Owner to document these. When the Car Owner opens and drives the car after a completed rental period, the Car Owner accepts the condition confirmed and described by the Renter in the rental’s end contract.
6.2.15 Requirements for the Renter in GoMore Keyless before and after the rental:
When it is a GoMore Keyless rental, the Renter is responsible for going through the car for any internal or external damages both when picking up and returning the car. It is Renter’s responsibility to make sure that any damages found are described in the rental contract and documented with pictures in the app. It is recommended that damages are documented by pictures immediately after the damage has occurred. In case of stone chips, the Owner must book a repairman immediately after the car has been returned. The damage report can be made afterwards. GoMore reserves the right to charge a fee of DKK 2,500 if the Renter neglects to report new damages in the rental contract.
It is the Renter’s responsibility to ensure that the rental car's condition is well documented via clear, well-lit and detailed photos. If the Renter is unable to upload photos to the rental contract or if these cannot be uploaded in a clear, well-lit and detailed format, the Renter must take photos around the car corresponding to the 8 angles shown and described in the rental contract. The Renter must store these photos on the device used to take the photos for 30 days. If the Renter is unable to provide photos documenting the condition of the car from the pick-up and return of the car, reference is made to the condition described by the Car Owner in the rental contract from when the Renter picked up the car. The Renter is in principle responsible for all damages not described in the rental contract, which the Renter cannot document were present before the rental.
When the Renter opens and drives in the car at the start of the rental, the Renter accepts the condition of the car described by the Owner and Renter in the rental contract. If existing damages are not reported in the rental start contract, the Renter and any additional driver may be held liable for any existing damages that may be ascertained after the end of the rental period.
If mechanical damages occur to the rental car during the rental period, the Car Owner must refund the Renter the price of the remaining rental period, including remaining kilometers in reference to the rental contract, but exclusive any fees laid upon the Renter within 8 days. The Renter can be held responsible for any damages not documented when checking the car and not reported by the Renter before the beginning of the rental.
At the end of the rental period, the Renter must return the car in a parking lot within a radius of 500 meters from where the car was picked up at the beginning of the rental period. The Renter must park the car in a parking lot where it has a license to be parked, or in a parking space where the car can be parked for free. The car must not be parked in a time-limited parking lot or space, or in a manner that causes the car to be illegally or improperly parked after the rental period.
The car Owner is not obliged to check that a car is legally parked after a rental. Therefore, it is always the sole responsibility of the Renter to ensure that the car is legally parked at the end of the rental period. Also in case the car was illegally parked at the start of the rental. If fees are imposed on the car after the rental, the Renter can be held responsible for paying these together with an administration fee as described in section 6.2.16..
At the end of a rental period, it is the Renter’s responsibility to report any damage a rental car may have incurred during the rental period. If damage is not reported adequately, the Renter may potentially be charged excess and an administration fee as described in 6.2.15. If there is any doubt as to whether a damage has occurred while the car has been in the Renter’s custody, the Renter and any additional driver may at any time be held liable if the Renter’s or any additional driver’s liability for the damage can be demonstrated and documented.
At the end of the rental period, the Renter must take at least 8 pictures of the car’s exterior covering all angles. If the Car Owner or the subsequent Renter reports a damage, these pictures will be there to secure the Renter. It is therefore important that the pictures are usable and of high quality. If the Renter deliberately takes useless pictures, the Renter can potentially be held responsible for incurring all costs associated therewith.
6.2.16 For GoMore Keyless rentals, GoMore further reserves the right to charge the following additional administration fees to cover GoMore’s administrative costs from the Renter’s payment card, if the Renter does not comply with the rules for GoMore Keyless:

- If the Renter fails to lock the car correctly using the app and this results in a subsequent booking having to be cancelled, GoMore reserves the right to charge the Renter the full rental price for the cancelled booking. The Renter shall furthermore be liable for all costs, losses and/or claims that may arise as a result of the failure to lock the car correctly.
6.2.17 GoMore reserves the right to charge the following administration fees to cover GoMore’s administrative costs from the Car Owner’s payment card, if the Car Owner does not comply with the rules of GoMore Keyless:

In such instances, both the Car Owner and Renter agree that the car will be returned to the Car Owner following GoMore's instructions.
In all cases where GoMore finds it necessary to terminate a rental agreement, GoMore reserves the right to process the full rental payment and/or cancel it.
At GoMore’s sole assessment, GoMore reserves the right to terminate any user’s GoMore membership and block their GoMore account at any time.
