This Privacy Policy explains GoMore’s collection, use, sharing, and protection of user information from the website, mobile application, and any other mobile or online service owned and offered by GoMore.

Personal Information We Collect From You

We use personal information to operate, maintain, and provide the features and functionality of GoMore, as well as to communicate directly with you and permit you to communicate with others on the platform or invite others to join GoMore. We may also send you service-related emails or messages.

Information about your identity

When signing up, you are asked to provide your full name, an email, and a password. Further, GoMore asks that you provide other information in your user profile to increase the level of trust on our platform. This includes a picture of yourself and information about your address, date of birth, education, occupation, nationality, mobile phone number, and a description about yourself. You can also upload information about your driver’s license including license number, and issue date. These are needed for renting a car on GoMore.

When renting a car for the first time, you will need to be validated to rent on our platform. As a part of this we may ask you to upload a picture of your driver’s license, national health insurance card, and/or passport in order to verify your identity. Driver’s license number and issue date will be automatically updated to your profile when entered via renter validation. Photos uploaded may be stored indefinitely in case they are needed for police or insurance matters related to rental activity on our platform.

When renting a car as a renter, the owner may ask for a picture of your driver’s license taken via the GoMore app to verify that the person picking up the vehicle is the same as the person approved to rent by GoMore.

If you correspond with us via email, we may retain the content of your email messages, your email address, and our replies. We may also keep copies of any messages you send through GoMore. We may retain the information in the user content that you post on GoMore.

Payment information

GoMore collects your personal payment information, which is stored by a 3rd party payment provider. By submitting your payment information you authorize GoMore to access and use this information in order to pay on your behalf for the transaction. GoMore retains the right to charge deleted cards in instances of debts owed to GoMore.

Vehicle information

When registering a car that can be used for ridesharing or rental you must provide information about the car, including car license number and its insurance status.

Social Media

When you interact with our service through various social media, such as when you log in through Facebook or when you like or post a comment to our Facebook page or interact with us on other social media, we may receive information from the social network, such as your profile information, profile picture, user name, user ID associated with your social media account, age range, language, country, friends list, and any other information you permit the social network to share with third parties. The data we receive is dependent upon your privacy settings with the social network.

We collect information about your interactions with the app and website, such as the pages or other content you view, your searches, bookings you have made, and other actions on the platform.

Location tracking

We log the IP addresses of clients using GoMore. Please note that this information does not identify you individually.

We use your current location to improve the search experience in the product, but we do not store data about your location.


Our website uses cookies, including third party cookies, to show you relevant advertising for GoMore and GoMore products.

Transaction information

We collect information related to your transactions on the platform, including the date and time, amounts charged, and other related transaction details.

How We Share Your Information

GoMore may share your personal information with other companies, third-party vendors, consultants or other service providers that perform services on our behalf or otherwise help provide the service to you, under reasonable confidentiality terms.

We may use information about you in partnership with outside companies to provide you with additional services related to GoMore, e.g. vouchers for refreshments at a gas station or a discount on a car wash.

We may share your information in connection with any company transaction, such as a merger, sale of all or a portion of company assets or shares, reorganization, financing, change of control or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company or third party, or in the event of bankruptcy or related or similar proceedings.

We may share your personal information with others with whom you communicate on the service and any information that you post or share publicly on our website or service. Any information that you voluntarily disclose on GoMore, such as user content about rides or rentals, becomes available to the public, as controlled by any applicable privacy settings. Personal information such as address and mobile number will only be shared with relevant users for confirmed bookings.

If you remove information that you posted to GoMore, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or if other users have copied or saved that information.

We may also share personal information if it is necessary to comply with any applicable law or regulation or enforce our Terms & Conditions, including to investigate any violations or suspicions of criminal behaviour.

We may aggregate and anonymize your personal information and share that anonymized and/or aggregated data with third parties.

Your Choices About Your Information

Profile information

You can change your account information at any time by logging onto your account.


You can opt out from receiving SMS and push notifications on your mobile phone from your account settings. You can also opt out from receiving notification emails from GoMore that relate to receiving messages from other users, booking requests, matches to ride alerts. If you receive our newsletter, you can unsubscribe from this.

Data Retention

Following termination or deactivation of your account, GoMore may retain your information for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, or audit purposes, or to maintain and improve the service. Furthermore, GoMore may retain and continue to use all information (including user content) contained in your communications with other members or posted to public or semi-public areas of GoMore after termination or deactivation of your account.

How We Protect Your Information

Before storing your password, we apply a cryptographically secure hashing algorithm to it. This means that even in the event of data theft from our servers, your password is safe.

If you lease a car, we ask for your SSN (social security number). We store this only in encrypted form.

We only use industry standard encryption algorithms and well tested code libraries.

Our database, as well as all our application servers, run on Amazon Web Services (AWS), and we rely on Amazon’s physical and infrastructure security measures.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may change this privacy policy or related procedures. We will communicate these changes on this page. Changes to GoMore’s privacy policy are effective when they are posted on this page. Your use of GoMore services following these changes means that you accept the revised Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these changes, you can choose to close your account with us.
