GoMore Cookie Policy

Updated September 25, 2019

GoMore (“We”, “Us”) uses cookies and similar technologies that can collect, process and sort information regarding how you and other visitors use www.gomore.dk and GoMore’s app ("The platform"). We do this to help provide, protect, and improve the GoMore platform. This policy explains how and why GoMore use these technologies and the choices you have.

GoMore’s use of cookies may include processing of your personal data, and we therefore recommend that you also read our privacy policy. By using the Website you accept that GoMore uses cookies as described below, unless you have opted out of cookies in your browser.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files, which the Website places on your computer's hard drive, smartphone or other electronic device. Cookies contain information, which the Website can use, among other things, to make the communication between you and your web-browser more efficient. When you visit the Website, you will automatically receive one or more cookies. Some cookies are placed by us, while other cookies are placed by third parties.

Temporary and permanent cookies

There are basically two types of cookies, "temporary" cookies and "permanent" cookies. The temporary cookies are linked to the current visit to the platform and are deleted automatically, when you close your web browser. In contrast, permanent cookies will be stored on your equipment. Permanent cookies delete themselves after a certain period, but will be renewed every time you visit the platform.

Why does GoMore use cookies?

GoMore uses cookies for a number of purposes, such as:

  • To enable you to use and access the GoMore platform
  • To enable, facilitate and streamline the functioning of and your access to the GoMore platform.
  • To better understand how you navigate through and interact with the GoMore platform and to improve the GoMore platform..
  • To monitor and analyze the performance, operation, and effectiveness of the GoMore platform and GoMore advertisements.
  • For fraud detection and prevention, trust and safety, and investigations.
  • For purposes of our own customer support, analytics, research, product development, and regulatory compliance.

Third party cookies

We may also allow certain business partners to place cookies on the GoMore platform. We allow these partners to use cookies (1) help us analyze how you use the GoMore platform, such as by noting the third party services from which you arrived, (2) market and advertise GoMore services to you on the GoMore platform and third party websites, (3) help us detect or prevent fraud or conduct risk assessments, or (4) collect information about your activities on the GoMore platform, other sites, and/or the ads you have clicked on. For example, to help us better understand how people use the GoMore platform, we work with a number of analytics partners, including Google Analytics.

Third parties may also use cookies to serve ads that they believe are most likely to be of interest to you and measure the effectiveness of their ads both on the GoMore platform and on other websites and online services. Targeting and advertising cookies we use may include Google, and other advertising networks and services we use from time to time. To the extent advertising technology is integrated into the GoMore platform and you opt-out of tailored advertising, you may still receive advertising content. In that case, the advertising content will just not be tailored to your interests. Also, we do not control any of these opt-out links and are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of these mechanisms.

GoMore may use social plugins provided and operated by third parties, such as Facebook. As a result of this, you may send to the third party the information that you are viewing on a certain part of the GoMore platform. If you are not logged into your account with the third party, then the third party may not know your identity. If you are logged in to your account with the third party, then the third party may be able to link information or actions about your interactions with the GoMore Platform to your account with them. Please refer to the third party’s privacy policies to learn more about its data practices.
