In the heart of North Zealand, you will find Esromgaard that transforms into a colourful pumpkin wonderland every autumn. Here, you can hunt for the perfect pumpkin, find your way through the corn maze and soak up the cosy autumn atmosphere. The perfect family outing during the autumn holidays, with plenty of opportunities to experience the magic of the season.
From monastery land to family farm
The history of Esromgaard dates all the way back to 1151, when the land belonged to Esrum Abbey. Today, the farm is run by Carl and Sindet Bruun, the third generation of the family to call this place home. They have carried on the traditions while creating a farm where seasonal produce, quality and great flavours are at the heart of everything they do.
A taste of the season
During summer, the farm shop is filled with sun-ripened strawberries, fresh peas, newly harvested potatoes and asparagus. The strawberries are picked early every morning to ensure they are as fresh as possible. As autumn arrives, the farm transforms into a charming pumpkin wonderland, with pick-your-own pumpkins, a corn maze and fun activities for the whole family.
