How to submit an extra cost claim

When renting out your car on GoMore, there may be times when additional costs like parking tickets, fuel shortages, or bridge fees occur during a rental period. It is important to report these extra costs to ensure that they are reimbursed appropriately. Here is how you can submit a claim for extra costs from your profile.

When to file extra cost claims

  • Immediate reporting: Report any additional costs as soon as they are discovered. This can be right after the rental period or as soon as you receive notices such as parking tickets or toll charges that were incurred during the rental.

How to submit an extra cost claim

1. Access your rental booking page

  • Navigate to the specific rental: Log into your GoMore profile and go to the booking page for the specific rental during which the extra costs were incurred. This is your starting point for initiating the extra cost claim process.

2. Go to the car ad page

  • Alternative route: You can also start the process from your car’s ad page. Go to the Damage and Claims section where you can manage claims.

3. Start the claim for extra costs

  • Initiate the claim: Look for an option or link that says Report Extra Costs or similar. Click this to open the claim form.

4. Provide details and documentation

  • Describe the costs: Clearly describe the nature of the extra costs. For instance, specify the type of fee (parking, toll, fuel), the amount, and the circumstances under which the costs were incurred.

  • Upload evidence: Attach receipts, tickets, or photographic evidence if available. This documentation is crucial for verifying the costs and processing your claim.

5. Review and submit

  • Final check: Ensure all the information provided is accurate and complete.

  • Submit the claim: Once all details are verified and documents attached, submit the claim for processing.

After submitting your claim

After you have submitted your extra cost claim, GoMore support will review the submission and follow up with the necessary steps. This may include contacting the renter, confirming details of the costs, or adjusting the final charges for the rental. Please note that GoMore can only process the claim, if we can prove that a renter is responsible for paying.
