As a driver on GoMore, you have the ability to cancel a ride at any time. While there is no cancellation fee charged to your passengers, it is important to consider the impact this may have on them.

Considerations for cancelling a ride

  • No penalty for passengers: When you cancel, your passengers will not be charged a cancellation fee.

  • Communication is key: If you have passengers booked for your ride, please provide them with an explanation for the cancellation. It is courteous to inform them as early as possible to minimise inconvenience.

Refund process

  • Automatic refunds: If a ride is cancelled before it is supposed to take place, the money will be automatically refunded to the passenger's bank account.

  • Refund timing: Refunds typically process within 1-2 business days, but this can vary depending on the bank and its specific refund processing times.

Important reminder

  • No private transactions: As a driver, you should never transfer money directly to other GoMore users outside the system if a ride is cancelled. This ensures that all transactions are secure and properly managed through GoMore.
