• No instructions provided: If the owner does not provide specific instructions, the car should generally be returned to a non-time-restricted parking space within the same parking zone and no more than 500 metres from where you initially picked it up. If in doubt, contact the owner.

Verify parking regulations

Before leaving the car:

• Check local signs: Parking rules for a zone/street are typically indicated at the entrance to that area. Always read these rules before parking.

• Avoid restricted areas: Never leave the car in spaces with no-parking signs, even if restrictions apply only at certain times or on certain days.

General parking guidelines
