When you book a rental car with GoMore, it is possible to add one extra driver to your booking. You can add an extra driver in the rental details section during the booking process.
You will need to have the additional driver's full name, driver's licence number and issue date on the driving licence ready.
If you did not add an extra driver when you booked the car, this can be done by editing the rental before it starts. When you add an extra driver before the start of the rental, the change is automatically accepted.
You can read more about how to easily edit your rental agreement here.
The additional driver must be at least 21 years old and have held a driver's licence for at least 1 year. Please note that the additional driver must also meet GoMore's insurance conditions. As the renter, you are responsible for ensuring that the additional driver meets the conditions. You can see our insurance conditions here.
As the renter, you are responsible for the car, including whether there is insurance cover for the extra driver's use of the car. In the case of an accident, you as the renter is responsible for any excess, regardless of who is driving the car.
As the renter, you must pick up the car because you are the one who has to sign the contract in the app. This means that the additional driver is not allowed to pick up the rental car, regardless of whether the rental agreement is with or without Keyless. It also means that you have to return the car yourself, as you have to sign the final contract in the same way, whether it is with or without Keyless.
