In Vig in Odsherred, just an hour’s drive from Copenhagen, you will find Æblevig. Here, Vibeke and her husband Thomas have transformed a beautiful old farm into a place for food, togetherness and great local produce. You can cook alongside Vibeke, go mountain biking in the forest and taste the farm’s own apple cider.
Cooking classes with a taste of Odsherred
Vibeke runs the cooking classes and gastronomic team-building events. You can join one of the open classes on your own or with a good friend, and private events and company groups are also available. The classes are often inspired by Italian cuisine and combined with the finest produce from Odsherred, with most of the vegetables grown on site. It is a bit like going out for dinner, except you get to help cook the meal yourself.
Mountain biking, sauna and apple cider
Thomas takes care of the active side, with mountain bike rides through the forest followed by a sauna, which you can combine with a cooking class. Æblevig also makes its own apple cider. The 100 apple trees they planted are still young, so for now the cider is made with apples from local growers. If you are coming from Jutland on the ferry from Aarhus, the farm is just a 25-minute drive away.
