How many kilometers are included in my booking?

When you rent a car on GoMore, you always have a certain number of kilometres included in your rental. The length of your rental period determines how many kilometres you get. The longer the rental period, the more kilometres you get.

When you rent a car for several consecutive days, we automatically apply a period discount, so your rental will be cheaper. The period discount also means that the number of kilometres is reduced in proportion to the discount given per day.

Example:

  • A rental car for one day = 337 DKK incl. 150 km
  • Same rental car for three days = 904 DKK (301 DKK/day) incl. 400 km (133 km/day)

Can I buy extra kilometres?

When you book a car, you have the option to buy extra kilometres if you are going on a longer trip.

It is a good idea to consider your mileage needs in advance. Unused mileage is non-refundable, so do not buy more extra mileage than you need. You can always see how many kilometres you have included in the rental overview in the app or on your booking receipt.

If you find you need more kilometres after your booking has been approved, you can still purchase extra kilometres. Go to your rental summary, tap 'Details' and then 'Edit rental' and you can add more kilometres.

Note that once the rental has started, you can no longer add more kilometres.

What happens if I drive too many kilometres?

At the end of the rental period, you can see if you have driven too many kilometres compared to the number included in your booking, including any additional kilometres purchased. If you have driven too many kilometres, you will have to pay a price per kilometre driven which is 50% higher than the normal kilometre price.

When you use the digital rental contract, any overrun kilometres are recorded in the rental contract and can be paid directly via the app. When settling directly via the app, a service charge of 20% of the total price of the overrun kilometres is added to the extra payment, just as if the kilometres had been purchased as extra kilometres during the booking. If you and the owner do not want to settle via the app, you can skip the settlement in the app when returning the car and then settle internally.

If overrun kilometres are recorded in the app, you as the renter will automatically be charged the extra amount. The extra amount is deducted from your payment card and automatically transferred to the owner's GoMore account.

If you as a renter do not agree with the number of overrun kilometres, please contact us at support@gomore.dk within 24 hours after the end of the rental.

How do extra and overrun kilometres work with GoMore Keyless?

When you rent a Keyless car, you can pick up and drop off the car using the GoMore app. This means that you do not meet with the rental company, and as the renter, you fill out the rental contract in the app at the time of pickup.

With a Keyless rental, the mileage is automatically reported in the app at the start of the rental. When you return the car, the mileage is automatically reported again. If the mileage is not reported automatically, you will be asked to enter the mileage manually and take a picture of the odometer for documentation.

Payment for mileage overrun is automatically settled via the app.
